DISASTER INJURIES
TRIGGER WARNING: GRAPHIC PHOTOS
For Severe Bleeding and Wounds:
1. Using a clean cloth or hand, apply direct pressure on the wound.
2. Add more cloth if the blood soaks through.
3. Keep pressure on the wound until professional help arrives.
For Fractures and Sprains:
1. Keep the victim still.
2. Elevate and keep the injured area as still as possible to avoid sever dislocations.
3. Apply ice to the injured area if available.
For Burns:
1. Immerse the burned area in cool water.
2. Flood chemical burn with cool water for at least 15 minutes.
3. Cover the burn with a dry bandage.
